Puro Sabor – Van Nuys

Now here is a favorite place my co-workers and I go to when we want to be fully satisfied. I would say at least once a month we would end up here. The place is called Puro Sabor which means Pure Flavor, a Peruvian place located on Van Nuys and Victory.

We discovered this place about a year and a half ago, a peruvian buddy of mine Oz took us here for lunch one day. We try not to go here all the time because we only have an hour for lunch.

The above usually tastes better because we order this in advance, and we come in with the food already waiting for us on the table. The sauce gets thicker and richer and of course I always sneak a bite from it. Thanks Oz.

Always after devouring such yummy goodness, I have to sneak in some Alfajores (mini’s)

Overall this place always hits the spot, we may risk being late from lunch, but that will depend on the traffic. But worth it. Call in and become regulars, this place has been good to us by getting the food ready. We do this because they take forever, the food is worth the wait, but not during a 1 hour lunch.
